japan right now, we just had the election there. we are seeing what they are doing over there. they are devaluating the yen. the reason for that is they need to export. the yen is too strongly priced. their exports aren't going out. so they are doing a good job with that. also we are seeing the british pound - there's not a lot of comfort zone in there right now - we are seeing it come off of the $1.62 range. we are looking at the euro. the euro is definitely probably - "definitely probably" going to break under the $1.30 range, probably by the first week in january is what we are hoping for on that. > what about oil? > > what we saw was oil did break above $90 last week. that is part of the past. what we are looking at now is oil, there is a lot of oil inventory right now. we are 76% above where we were year-to-date last year. so right now what we are looking at is probably in the mid-to-lower $80s, hopefully by the end of this week. that would be sweet at the pump for all of our consumers. > they would love that gary. thanks for bringing that good word. have a good trading da

when i think about elected movements in america, i don't think they were led to elected officials. elected officials respond to the leadership on the ground. that's what we should be doing. when we think about voting conversations to debate, how can we have an entire presidential debate, and seems that the word "poverty" was almost something we shouldn't talk about? something we shouldn't address. i hope we can change the dialogue because i'm a guy who actually likes to do a balance sheet analysis of our country. this is why we have interesting partnerships. the manhattan institute is working with us in newark. it's a balance sheet analysis that every dollar spent on snap creates a multiplier effect in our economy. it creates $1.70 # -- $1.70 of gdp growth. the same idea for kids. direct investments for young people produces a real economic result in the end. if we have a balance sheet analysis, we'll change. i was campaigning for president obama in seattle and was with an amazing support of housing organization there showing they had 23 homeless people. they looked at the medical

it was our personal belief that if you could fight or die for the country or vote in an election, you should be able to go to a party. inside the white house they didn't believe it was a status quo election. they believe the president won decisively and did get the mandate. house republicans believe they had a mandate to cut spending and the president believed he had a mandate to raise taxes. they will have the same clash two months from now. not just over the sequester which will be back in two months but in two months another clash over the debt ceiling. i'm not sure anybody wins tonight when they are kicking the can down the road again. nation will still be watching this closely. the markets will be watching it closely but the white house will believe in the days ahead that they won because in this fight the president in the end is getting the tax cuts for the middle class he wanted. he is getting the tax increases on the rich that he wanted. and there are no major spending cuts. no major entitlement reform that the republicans, the house republicans wanted. as mike suggested they believe the republicans do that they will get those in the debt ceiling fight. we'll see. the bottom line
